Water Treatment for Grocery Stores
Grocery stores rely on quality water treatment systems to reduce costs. Grocery stores can receive the greatest benefit from a water softening system that removes hardness from water using a process called ion exchange. Hard water contains sodium and magnesium which can deposit as lime scale on fixtures and equipment.
Removing hardness from water will decrease lime scale and reduce operating costs. Some examples of cost savings that a grocery store could realize by installing a water softener are decreased maintenance on produce spraying nozzles, decreased chemical requirements for air conditioner cooling towers, and decreased maintenance/cleaning for dish washing areas in a deli or hot food kitchens.
